Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women (PW), the national women’s organization of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), was developed to offer opportunities for women to grow spiritually, to engage in faithful action for mission, justice and peace, and to be part of a group of women of faith who support the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A).

Our two “circles” meet monthly throughout the year to nurture our faith through Bible study and prayer.  In service to Cape Fear Presbyterian Church and its members the circles coordinate the placement of fresh flowers in the sanctuary for worship and delivery of these flowers to those in need, prepare food for the bereaved and provide cookies for the Seaman’s’ Center as a symbol of our Christian love and care.  Throughout the year circle members correspond, prepare and deliver Christmas gifts, and visit with homebound church members.  The circles also provide seasonal care packages and cards to college students.

In March we observe "Gifts of Women Sunday". In May the circles prepare kits for migrant workers.  In June we recognize our high school and college graduates by presenting them with either a Bible or devotion book.

We invite you to join our fellowship!
