Meet the Team...
Rev. Jonathan C. Watson
Jonathan has been an ordained Presbyterian (PC(USA) minister for over 20 years. He was born and raised in Southern California and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Photography/Motion Pictures from Brooks Institute of Photography (Santa Barbara, CA). After a few years of toiling in Hollywood, God showed him a “still more excellent way.” He pursued that call at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY), and after receiving his Master of Divinity degree, Jonathan was called as the Associate Pastor of the Falls Church Presbyterian Church (Falls Church, VA). He began serving Cape Fear Presbyterian Church in February 2006. He is married to Darcie and they have a son named James. When not at church, Jonathan can be found hanging out with his family, honing his photography skills (www.JonathanCWatson.com), birdwatching from his back porch, or soaking up all the beauty that Southeastern NC has to offer.
Jonathan is an active participant in the Presbytery of Coastal Carolina, and documents presbytery gatherings as an official photographer. He was also recently elected to serve as a member of the Louisville Seminary Alumni Board (Class of '24).
Pastor Jonathan’s office hours are generally 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (Tuesday-Friday). However, he may be unavailable during this time due to visitation, sermon preparation, or other unforeseen acts of God. To schedule an appointment, please call the church office, or send him an email.
Pam started taking piano lessons at age seven, and music has been a major part of her life ever since. She has a double major (Church Music and Music Education), a Master’s degree in education, and has just retired from teaching public school music (Cape Fear Elementary in Pender County). Originally from Western New York, she and her husband, Larry, are blessed to be here near daughters, grandchildren and the beach!
We welcome Julie Case as our part-time Admin. Asst. She's in the office Wed-Fri, so give her a call or stop by and say "Hello!" E-mail Julie
