At Cape Fear Presbyterian we have the trifecta of roofs--or to put it in theological terms, a "trinity" of roofs. The sanctuary roof (above) is covered in 4,000+ NEW architectural, energy star rated shingles. The main building (classrooms, offices, etc.) is a flat roof which requires a specialized technique of new decking and an asphalt coating. Jennings Hall is a metal roof.

This past weekend, the skilled crew from Tabor Roofing scaled the heights of the sanctuary and replaced the roof in three days. A different crew from Tabor is now working on the flat roof (below)

We were grateful to have a visit this week from Chelsea Donovan of WECT6 News (local NBC affiliate). She toured the facility and interviewed Pastor Jonathan. You can check out the video link below

The crew from Tabor Roofing was hard at work this morning removing the old shingles. I can't tell you what a beautiful sight this is! Please pray for these men as the pitch of the roof entails working from ropes and that can be a dangerous job.
