A BIG thank you to Justin Pope of the Wilmington StarNews for worshipping with us on opening day and writing this wonderful article (with photos).

It was so good to be "home" in our sanctuary for worship! We had an exuberant crowd and everyone was in a celebratory mood. The overwhelming was response to the renovations was "beautiful." We'll be posting more pictures in the coming days, along with video of the service (with apologies for the lack of audio in the beginning - new microphone and thus pastor user error). We even had a reporter from the local paper--the StarNews--so stay tuned for a link to that article when it's published. If you were unable to join us Sunday, we look forward to seeing you soon!

...we will rejoice and be glad in it!" (Ps. 118.24) This Sunday (May 19) we will once again worship in our own sanctuary at 11:00 am. We invite you to come and celebrate with us and see our newly refurbished facility at 2606 Newkirk Ave. Children/youth Sunday school is on summer break and our adult classes are taking a pause until we can move all of the furnishings back in from Jennings Hall. Childcare will be available.
