Dear VBS Friends, 

 

As summer comes near, we would normally be gearing up for our annual Vacation Bible School; however, this year Hurricane Florence has made it impossible for us to do so.  Cape Fear Presbyterian Church sustained major damage during the storm and we are still undergoing restoration of our buildings.  It saddens us deeply to inform you that we have to cancel Vacation Bible School this year.  We always look so forward to the time we spend together sharing Bible stories, singing songs, making crafts, creating experiments and eating delicious snacks.  

 

Last year at VBS, we went on a Rolling River Rampage.  A couple of months later, Hurricane Florence devastated the church buildings.  Our Bible verse from VBS could not hold more true than during this time: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.” (Isaiah 43:2)

 

We ask for your understanding and your prayers.  We will be back in full swing for VBS next year and look forward to seeing you then, if not before!
